My client Cluj Startups approached me to help them create and launch a new community focused on early founders. The community will have a digital space, with paid and free tiers, and a physical office space with paid memberships.
They are a local non-profit that acts as a hub for entrepreneurs, service providers and funding for the Cluj area.
My approach
From the beginning I had my focus onto integrating the new community in the larger activities of the organisation. I looked at overlap areas, at ways of connecting the whole ecosystem and ways to cross-pollinate activities.
Community design
Who is it for?
How are members engaged?
What is the onboarding flow?
How can we integrate the community tools in the extend tech stack of the organisation?
How the Code of Conduct can cover both the digital and the physical space?
Information Architecture
How we design a knowledge base that is easy to use for new members?
How we integrate the knowledge base into the community flow and architecture?
How are we presenting the community onto organisation’s website?
Community growth
How can we integrate the community into organisation’s activities?
How we find a balance between the free and paid areas of the community?
How are we validating members?
